Purchase
So... I spent about 5 years writing this book, and now I don't know what the hell to do with it.
Obviously, the initial hope was to just get it published, like what's supposed to happen with books. Problem was that I'm neither a famous comedian nor a scientist, so publishers and agents basically told me I wasn't marketable. I couldn't even get to the stage of people reading the book, so that ambition kind of faded out.
People always tell me I should just make it available online. I don't know... maybe. I don't care about getting paid for this, so making it available for free doesn't bug me. I do, however, care about credibility. It's not clear that if I make it available on the web, as an eBook or whatever, that it won't just be read by supportive friends and a few random people and just get lost in the sea of crazy ramblings that the internet is mostly made of.
I'm open to suggestions , but the short story is that right now I'm not really sure what the best path for this book is.
In the meantime, I'm just trying to work on being funnier, and maybe talk to scientists about how, and if, the essential premise of the book can be proven empirically.
